Mobiky way of life
HISTORY
The Mobiky range of fold-up, transportable bikes was launched in 2005 with the Genius. This first model, which benefitted from the most advanced folding technologies, was enormously successful with more than 10,000 bikes sold worldwide. In May 2010 the company was taken over by Pascal Baisnée. The range of bikes was increased to 7 models, two of which were electric. The Mobiky range became fully anchored in the world of high quality products: production and assembly were repatriated from China to France.
WHO ARE WE?
Mobiky Tech is established in Saint-Lô in the county of Lower Normandy.
Our local presence enables us to guarantee an efficient after sales service. Our team can modify products on request – personalisation, ergonomics, accessories – and even plan for this thanks to the close links between our engineers and our research and development teams.
Ultimately, we want to be able to state that Mobiky bikes are finished products which are socially fair, responsible and aware of their environmental impact.
FRENCH DESIGN
A revolutionary urban bike: it only takes three seconds to fold a Mobiky bike and transport it just like any other case on wheels. A product which is made in France, which benefits from the best in latest technologies.
Mobiky bikes are designed and built in the Mobiky-Tech factory in Saint-Lô, respecting European and French regulations. Assembly, and above all moulding of the major parts of the frame, the manufacturing and finishing of raw parts, high precision welding are carried out in France. Mobiky-Tech uses local businesses, particularly for mechanical welding technology, enabling it to offer a Mobiky which is 100% made in France.
BEING GREEN
Underground, train, escalator, lift: nothing stops a Mobiky. Compact, easily transportable and completely clean, it presents a fun and practical answer to the mobility requirements of big urban centres.
